Audio Book Contractors' two anthologies offer Flo Gibson reading carefully chosen selections. Gibson's voice is a treat. She immediately transports the listener to the right time and place. We feel she's just stepped out of the drawing room to tell us about the festivities and listeners glimpse the extravagant Christmas of an English manor house in Old Christmas. Gibson's reading of "The Gift of the Magi" should not be missed. She gives O'Henry's story all its intended warmth without getting bogged down by speech patterns that can seem stiff to modern readers.Children's Book Review
